Article V, Section 18 of the HOA Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions, signs on owner lots are generally limited to real estate for sale signs, numerical house identifiers, or signage required by law. Subsection (F) does allow the board to approve signs for use. The following guidelines are being provided for signage that the board will allow without pre-approval. The board reserves the right to request the removal of a sign at any time. This excludes the use of real estate sales signs or other official notices as specified under Section 18
Additionally, the following standards for signage is required
Any signs that are not on the pre-approved list above should be submitted to the Board for approval before placement
- Political signs
- Signage in support of a candidate, ballot proposition, or party affiliation may be displayed for a maximum of 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the election and must be removed immediately following election day. Only 1 per candidate and a maximum of 3 signs.
- Graduation/College
- 1 sign per graduating student in household may be displayed for a maximum of 90 days,
- Contractor/Construction
- Signs may be posted while work is ongoing and up to one week following the completion of the job
- Lawn treatment
- Notices may be left up to one week after treatment
Additionally, the following standards for signage is required
- Signs cannot exceed standard placard size of 20” high by 24” wide
- Must be of professional graphics quality
- Cannot be attached to the home
